Ban or Limit LRL posts at THunting

oRo:
Dowsing using simple low cost devices is pretty harmless and may even work to some degree, but scamming folks out of thousands of dollars is much different. Some of the LRLs look like they were deigned by NASA and have descriptions that Government MIL Spec would be proud of, but do absolutely nothing. Freedom of speech is great, but not at the expense of ripping off the simple and uneducated. Another problem allowing this to take place on THunting is all the negativity focused on the forum because of all the personal attacks and arguing. Remember everything posted on the forum goes out to the world as the search engines monitor and link to the posts. Does THunting really want to be associated with the quasi legal industry of LRL? I say not, what say you?

Cornelius:
I am defenitely against the LRL messages put on this forum . Much of the fighting going on was because I decided to speak up against this rip-off . I know better , but I also know that there are quite a few people believing in this way of detecting . It is because I wanted to protect these people that I spoke up from the beginning . Another thing I am against is the use of this forum to sell products . That does not mean that if you have a piece of equipment that you want to get rid of , that you cannot put it on this forum ( in the right place ) . But to produce something and using this forum as a means to sell it should be frowned upon . Just my opinion .  As usual a long answer to a short question  but that is my way .

Dell_Winders:
Sorry, I don't understand the logic behind this poll?

Since I am the one being attacked, and having to waste my time in response, it  matters not to me if Thunting no longer wishes to have discussions on LRL.

The solution is simple. If discussing LRL is a problem for  THunting, moderators,  simple remove the "Black Box Technologies"  forum?   If you claim LRL is Dowsing, then remove the Dowsing forum also.  Problem solved.

I'm happy, however you decide.  Dell

I am siding with Christian in upholding freedom of speech on this forum. I disagree with oRo, there are no simple or uneducated members on Thunting.com!

Sue:
I voted for Long Range category to remain on the forum. It's something people are interested in - even if you aren't, others are. If you don't think they work, just avoid the subject. Let those that do, discuss LRL. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you can just bash everyone who believes in something you don't - freedom of speech, to me, means people have the right to discuss a subject without harassment. Sue

I am for the right to freedom of speech, And for those who believe in these devices that is fine.  as I do not. I believe that this forum is not the place to premote them. ,,Rob

Cornelius:
Sue Freedom of speach is a precious right .  Selling  $35.- of parts for  $2000.- is a crime .   Cornelius
