I get out a lot=But= I usually can't hunt too long because of heart (pacemaker-de-fib) and other problems, but i get out many times, sometimes 4 times a day, mebbe for 30 min, sometimes 3 hrs, yrs back , I would hunt all day, but now i usually get out at least 5 days a week for my short hunts, sometimes  1 time a day, sometimes 4 times a day, and detect wherever I am for whatever I can find, I'm not picky, really like jewelry and relics, but, whatever Beeps,  I DIG, so an  ID  detector is useless to me, will post some pics of my updated displays and some of my finds, next day or so, Have had many detectors (ALL KINDS) but what iv'e been using mostly for the past 4 yr or so (others mixed in) has been Detector Pro, and Garrett.

Only around 20 / 30 times this year, but I didn't really start getting out again until mid-September. (Working on a fixer upper)
This year's gonna be different though, in fact I'm going out tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great season!
Mike

I've gotta agree with Outback...not enough.  I know I was out quite a bit in 08 and hope to be out quite a bit more in 09 and at the end of 09 the answer will still be not enough.  Gotta love this great hobby!  I never grow tired of it! [beerchug]

We try to get out 2 - 3 times a week and duration of our hunts
are anything from 4hrs to 10hrs.  [laola] [laola]

Obviously depending on the time of year and weather conditions.  [sunny]
When on vacation we hunt almost every day usually 5-6hrs. [great] [great] [great]

Our big advantage is we're both retired, and can take as many vacations
as we wish sometimes 6-7 times a year.  [waveing] [waveing]

So we do get a lot of practice and it helps us to get better at using
our machines.
