I guess some people aren't as reasonable as others.  Don't elect any of those calif politicians in our states when they leave office.

Keep the votes coming folks. We have to show the world  we care.

Dusty Carl

Was out detecting looking for a buffalo nickel my friend said he lost, but only found 62 pennies, 12 dimes, 1 Jefferson nickel, 2 quarters and a pair of fashion earrings. I will post pictures tomorrow. Sure wish I had found that nickel for him.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Well, so far the vote tally is only 12 yes and 1 no. Folks, this is the time to express your opinion. Chippewa Falls may be a long way off, but would you want your town, city, state or country clamping down on your freedoms to the point that someday you might never have any? Please vote! It's painless, confidential, but everyone gets hurt if you don't. Deadline is tomorrow. Don't be one of those " I should have....."

Hey, the Park and Recreation Boards meeting is not until March 10th.   I refuse to be disappointed until we find out what the outcome is.    Our job isn't to take polls so much as it is to let people know they have an opportunity to stand with our fellow hobbyists in Wisconsin and to make sure that any one who swings a metal detector in the Chippewa Falls area has a chance to attend the meeting and put their two cents in.   If they don't, then they have only themelves to blame if the department does opt for the  measures they are considering.

All I know is if you let weeds in your garden, it won't be long before that is all you will have for your efforts.

going ever so slightly off-topic......and when you let weeds into your garden there's no telling what you're going to wind up with in terms of wildlife----as our little foray to the "marble lot" yesterday proved.        Devil

But back to our regularly scheduled discussion---helping to ensure that detectorists have equal recreational access to public facilities

It was a garden, and full of weeds and wild animals of all kinds, was'nt it ? It was nice that all could find a use for the garden.
