I am looking for a Power Plus Booster for my Ultra GTA 350 like pictured.  Missed out on this one on ebay but surely there are still some floating around out there.

Have you done any research on this thing or talked to folks that have used it?? I have only heard one report about it and the user claimed it was junk don't want to see you waste your money if it don't work.

Actually I have not been able to find much information on it.  A friend of mine tells me he has seen folks use them with promissing results but nothing first hand.  I appreciate the info.  Maybe someone out there had one and can give me some first hand insight.

Yep some first hand info is needed for sure. I do remember a booster that came out in the 70's that claimed to increase detector power by something like 30% but guess it did not work as they were only around for a year of so.

Here is a little info from another forum not much out there.

I have used the power booster alot over the years and they will add about 1 1/2" to deapth BUT it will only help some detectors...
It won't work on no automatic ground balance detectors like a Whites ground trac but on the 4900 I could get a penny at 6" without or 8" with the power booster.
The power booster will throw of your ground balance and even make the coins read wrong sometimes.
My Mark 1 would'nd ground balance with it on.

Hmm interesting.  Wonder how it does on a garrett gta 350?  I am told garrett sold them in the 90s.  I had emails back and forth with a garrett tech but he did not know anythign about it until I emailed him and he had to ask some of the old timers around.  None of them actually sold any though nor used them.

I've been around the park a few times and never heard of those.

Guess it would amp the receive a bit.   Seems to me that could throw a few things out of whack.
