I have one that takes the liquid keroscene.  All it needs is the mantles and the glass (got broke in the move) $6.00 and you pay shipping. Let me know, and I will go to the post office and find out the shipping cost, need your address/zip code.

Bob

They use White Gas.   AKA Colman Fuel!  The newer ones was jetted to use Regular Gas as well.

To this day, no one has came out with anything that works as good.   LOL

They also had a model that ran on kerosene and it had a little starter cup near the mantle that had to be filled w/alcohol to get it going. The ones your talking about use, like you said, Coleman fuel or "White gas" that was usually only sold by Atlantic Richfield.

Yep!  sure did. I have two of those, two of the gasoline (coleman fuel) and two of the propane. FYI Coleman is making the kerosene lanterns again. My brotherinlaw has one of each. The make a small and a large kerosene.

Over the years I went through 3 of the double mantle jobs. Nice lamps. My favorite is the old red model 200. It has only one mantle and is good on the fuel consumption and still puts out a lot of light.

Two mantles only puts out 1/4th more light then the one mantle version.  LOL
