My coil was FUBAR on my Gold Bug II and I need a replacement. I figure I would check here first. The size doesn't matter... but it does need to work.

Cheers

Sean

Hi Sean if you want that real fine gold the little coil will pick up specks that you have to pan, coz if it is small gold ya after

as in very tiny specks i know they're is'nt a better machine than your GB1! and it's only on sand type grains that it

beats my GMT,

I thought about that... it would keep me from getting a Falcon for now  :Smiley

The GMT is a nice machine, my friend has one and has done quite well. I have the old GM II so I find lots of lead. That isn't really the detectors fault though. I have been itching to play with the Gold Bug, but shortly after I got it the coil went T.U. so I never had it for more than one trip. I need to have it ready by Memorial Weekend for the first big digging trip of the year.

That will probably give me a better Google search from stores selling the coils. Hopefully someone will chime in with a good used one.

Cheers

Sean
