Ask anyone who has been in the game before TID and Wish List Numbers and you will find they Still Don't use the stuff.

MY self, GD, Seldom and the Lot don't use the stuff on a REAL hunt.

You Dig the Toons.

I can tell you if it's a Coin on Side, Upright, A Peace of Wire On End, On it's Side.  Aluminum, Copper, Silver, Or the O Mighty Huh???

LOL

Yep, Like RADAR!    It's all in the Toons.

At the State Fair in Tucson one day the ANG had a Set up of a Ground Radar.   Not Metal Detecting type but looking across the ground to look for Cars Trucks and the Lot.

In 15 Minutes they taught me how to Tell a Truck from a Car.  A Car from a Motorcycle.   A Motorcycle from a Man Walking.

The VLF and PI detector can Convey the Same Info into your Ear Holes.

My First Metal Detector was a Sorry BFO out of the Back of a Rag Mag but I Never forgot what those guys taught me.

You Know What?

I found I could hear the same Differences in that $50.00 Thing as I heard in there Million Dollar Ground RADAR!

That was one of the Best Boots Up Help I ever got from anyone.

All you really need is a toggle switch and a push button. Any piece of aluminum can be cut to shape.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Yep!   You can make this one work.

Just build a bit of Aluminum that fits the Slot.

 Cool

this is what ive got so far....the far left is power on...the far right is power off.
now if i could figure out which pin is for all metal and which one is for disc. id be set.......everything runs one side from the main power on leg....the ground....(or off) runs off another side or batt. negative.......that leaves 3 open pins....one for pinpoint one for all metal and one for disc.......the other side of all the switches..(in theory)....should be the main pins for each of these functions......but so far ive only got the power on and off working correctly

pinpoint is not an issue....dont care about it....just want to be able to toggle between all metal and disc because the control funtions on the side need to correspond with those 2 functions to make the discriminate work correctly
