I'm looking to get started and all I have is a gold pan I bought in Alaska when I was 16. I would be interested in anything that would help me get started. I guess a metal detector and small scale equipment i.e. dredge, trommel, sluice etc. Would be the most interesting but I'm open to any ideas you may have.
For convenience anything within a reasonable driving distance from SLC would be easiest but everything is negotiable.
