[WTB] WTB: Broken Minelab Pro-Find Pinpointer

(1/1)

mh9162013:
I need to replace my current pinpointer (I think it's a Bounty Hunter), but I don't want to use a 9V battery with my new pinpointer. I have chosen to go with a Minelab Pro-Find 35. However, I will plan on examining the feasibility of running it with AAA batteries (lithium, NiMH LSD and alkaline).

Therefore, I need a pinpointer to work on when trying to size everything, but I don't want to work on a fully functional one, in case I break it during development. So I'm looking for anyone who might have a broken or busted Minelab Pro-Find 15 or 35.

I'm willing to pay $10 per propointer + your actual cost of shipping. I can pay via Paypal and will add $1 to cover the fee. If you feel a higher price is warranted, let me know why and I may be willing to give you more. For example, if it works, but the tip is completely worn through, I'd probably be willing to pay you more than $10 + shipping for it.

Oh, and I'm only looking for sellers in the USA (to save on shipping costs on my end, that's all).

Thanks for looking!

Also willing to consider fully functional Minelab Pro-Find 35 pinpointers, too.

I did, but I appreciate you input.

Do you know why Minelab's stuff would be so expensive, even when broken? I've noticed a dearth of almost any brand name pinpointer for sale, whether broken or not. I figured it was a testament to very good warranty support and/or very low repair costs, even when made by authorized professionals.
