Glad to see some local folks [Thunting.com Members] who love this great Treasure/Metal Detecting
hobby !!

For the time being , I am not too far from you guys . I hope that we all keep in touch on the forum no matter where we may travel . I will keep you posted if I build a new circuit board or find a hot spot to metal detect .
I remember my first metal Detecting area was in Washington state [pierce county] up at Browns Point . I was in High School around 1974 ? , and drove up the hill to some old houses built in the 1920's . Found a bunch of old coins and complete large caliber bullets one with usmc 1917 stamped on it . I had a Bounty Hunter gold lunch box metal detector [bfo] no meter just a speaker , I bought it from a store called Lafayette electronics on Steilacoom Blvd in Tacoma . Its not there anymore of course but they had everything electronic from a to z , from electronic parts to am/fm "bugs" transmitters , plenty of DIY kits and vacume tubes .
Ramsey and Graymark had some great kits at that time !!
That place was my favorite hang out .

Best Regards...........Eugene
