Have you tried detecting around it? Do that. If you find something take it to museum and they will tell what period is that and maybe that will help them to figure out for sure what era is that.

golddustcarl there are so many sites archaeologists cant manage to dig everywhere

Yes I tried detect.  Nothing,  excluding cartridges and dagger from first World War . But on 1869 there were found sword and few boilers from bronze age.

Ok then... just to let you know i found similar one. I thought it is ancient tombe but it was tomb of some soldier from WWI.
