Does anyone have an idea what this is. Have posted on a couple of boards but no one can shed any light on it. On the front is a ship ( no idea what type ) and on the back is the letters GKL we think, also a pentagram. Its about 2cm from side to side.

This is the second time you have posted the same images which are too small and do not show enough detail. Do you want help or not?

If you do, please either use or borrow a high resolution camera with a macro feature. That's the little tulip symbol on the camera. Then, make a rubbing of the item. You do this with a number 2 pencil and paper. Put the paper on the coin, hold it steady and rub lightly with the bare pencil lead on the paper. Cover the whole coin with the rubbing with the pencil lead being at a very low angle to the paper. This enhances the low areas and gives an excellent relief image of the coin.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I know this an older post; but Golddigger11950, did you try 'zooming' in or increasing the magnification?  I went to 400% and got a pretty good look at the coin; but, alas, I haven't a clue what it is.
