Anybody have any idea what these are?  I found them near a battlefield here in Virginia.

The thing in the background looks like a patio. Could be Roman. Can't really tell from the photos. The thing in the bottom area looks to be a ruler. Perhaps plastic. Stained from being in the ground with dyes that make it look like a flag a statue and some sort of lettering is printed on it.

Can't tell what those other two things are.

By the way, welcome to these forums. Consider your leg pulled. The rectangular object on the left might be a band that holds wooden parts of a gun or rifle together. It's hard to tell without knowing the width of the band.

I thinnk GD is correct on the patio and ruler. And.... probably right on the rectangular piece. Looks like a retainer band that would hold wood to metal like on a gun stock to the barrel or maybe a wagon or carriage part.

Ok. I'll go back on my medication now. Excuse me for a second.

Wagon iron cleat and a Ferrel to strengthen wood.  Might be a barrel band for a musket or old rifle.

There's another possibility, they could be from a sabre scabbard, the ring stay insert and a sabre lock.
