Could you do us a favor and post your photos in jpg format rather than Word? Word macros can contain a virus and some people won't open them for that reason. Also, a jpg is viewable within SMF and a browswer without calling up a separate program.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

thorin7860;

I can not open anything in that file.... as Goldigger 1950 says, use jpeg or gif, preferably jpeg.

Thorin? Is that like in the series of scifi books? Are you goodlife, badlife or a berserker??  Grin

Had a look at your coin and from the images it looks as though it could be a class 4 short cross penny of john 1199-1216. I could be wrong on this as the image was so small. Hope this helps . Malc. [great]Still a lovely find hope you get many more.

To enlarge pic, do a double left click on image, then click on "size" and click on up arrows to increase size.  Works for me in Word.

Word? What is that?  Shocked

It is something I refuse to have on my computers.... overpriced junk.

Word, should be for text ONLY, there are FAR better programs for images.

Hay guys,

Here is a free simple program for Windows XP.

From Windows Explorer and other programs,
you can just right click a photo and have the
option to resize. Click it and you have about
6 or so sizes to choose from.

It is quick and easy,

It works, and you do not have to be in Word.

Tabdog;

I will try it.... when you say *explorer,* I always think browser, and forget that the file browser is also called Explorer! Of course, using Firefox, as I do, I can NOT use the Explorer browser, so I put it to sleep. Even so, it keeps waking up and causing trouble, especially with Google Earth!

I call it nastyware!
