found this old axe head about a foot deep, working on a puzzle,,,, can anyone give me a roud about time frame ,,,, also thanks for all the help on last item

scott axe's have changed little over the last 10,000 years so its hard to date them without lot of info. Can you tell if its hand forged or caste? Can you see any marks what so ever? Where did you find it? Homestead, barn, scout camp ?
Its not a high dollar relic so cleaning it up with a wire brush  want hurt the value much

well thats the puzzle trying to figure out ,,,,, both items came from my back yard both hand forged.
the thing is my houes and land are new, I gooled earthed it only goes to 93 but it was all wooden, I did find a spot in lower pasture that was somewhat clear then ,,,, thinking it may have been a old home stead at one time moore county NC was big in th rev war ,,,,,, going be hunting the bare spot I found when wheather clears up though hope to find something that can tie these together ,,,,, but thanks alot for the advise ,,,, I sure do listen and use it!

lol sorry about the spelling ,,,,,, also dug up old busted plates that had gold inlay

ok found a stamp on it it is a circle with 3 small lines running from it

Seldom is a pro when it comes that kind of stuff so post a pic of the stamp that you found and perhaps he will be able to help you identified your axe (Date it)
