 got another one for ya's , this big ole key . does anyone have a clue to a research site on old keys? this one I think may have gone to a church door or gate ?
the end looks like a cross to me . no clue just guessing. but would love to find out. I think it was cast metal. thanks Jimby

I found something lie that a few years ago on the beach. Where did you did your key. It might give a clue as to what it openned

sorry for the late response guys, been away. mine came from an estate state sale  here in new england  on the north shore , Cape Ann are.and was picked up cheap yup love the old keys too especially the big old ones I saw one online that had a solid cross on the end in a european country forget where now and that one was from a church door.
