Hm.  By the looks of the writing, it seems similar to Japanese/Chinese.  Though, I just think that it is a bit different writing, but it is still Asian.  However, it may be Korean, would be my best guess.

Hope someone can ID it properly for ya!!

toriak;

It definately has Chinese characters/ideograms and what looks like Vietnamese script, the second, smaller script... unfortunately, I am illiterate, when it comes to either. I can understand a little Chinese, but no Vietnamese. I can read some Cyrillic, but that wont help you, heh, and I can count to 1000 in Cree, and swear in Cree, but that wont help either, unfortunately

Hey, any of you treasure hunters, out west, particularly Washington and Oregon, cumtux Chinook wawa? Mamook cumtux. I think its fun. (OOPS Christian is watching.)

Is it a button? It sure looks like a uniform button.

Can you post a picture of the back side and possibly throw a ruler in there to see how large it is? Hopefully Someone will have some clues for you  Smiley

That ruler says "tenth" .

Does that not mean tenth of a foot?

Or is it graduated in tenths of an inch?

If it is tenths of a foot, then

one tenth would = 1.2"

so 3.5 tenths would = 4.2"

So, is it tenths of inches, or tenths of a foot?

I just answered my own question.

Lookin at ruler, I can see that one

inch is = to about 2.5 centimeters,

which is about one inch.

So, it is about 3.5 inches.

Excuse my brain fart{alt}
