ok, can anyone tell me who this lady is and if you may know the year?

now, about this and how i come about getting it. a very long time ago about 20 years or more i was taking some trash off to a local dump, well while i was there a guy pulled up in a brand new truck, and was unloading a bunch of pretty ceramics and things, had a bunch of angles and unicorns and i seen him throwing it all away so i asked him why because they were really pretty, well he tells me they were his great grandmothers things and she recently passed away, he said she was a world traveler and he didnt live in america and did not want to haul all her things back except her photos of the family and all. well so i got this and for many years it has set in my house in the closet well i decided to clean out my closet and throw away things i no longer use and found this i had forgotten about it so now that we have internet i decided to do a search, so far all i know is its made of chalk and was told its called chalkboard and was told it is either a roman or greek lady. there is no date that i know of on it and on the back their is a number etyched in of 1272.  there is no name on it and the number could be either the year 1272 or the number made? i had contacted an art dealer in new york city who is currently looking into it but so far not found anything like it. the guy at the art dealer shop told me it might be as valuable as the lost remouir of the little girl changing earrings? because it does reseable that somewhat. it has been 3 weeks and still nothing heard, he contacts me every day telling me hes still searching.

so if the guy who gave it to me many years ago did in fact tell me the truth that his grandmother was a world traveler then there is no way of knowing where she picked this up at or from. i really would like to know so any help would be much appreceiated! thanks

here is 3 photos of it. one upclose, one of the size of it compared to my stove, and one of the back

I think you're correct, Seldom. The paint is much too vivid for it to be anything but modern era.

Yep! Remembe my Mom getting into that stuff.   There was a Studio down the road that had about 1000 molds and for the Membership fee and small fee for all molds you could blast away at what ever you wanted.

They would even fire them for another small fee.

I'd put it on the shelf and call it a wonderful piece that brings back memories. There's no need to get rid of it. Most of us wh have been in the hobby for a long time have buckets of memories just like that one.
