Can you identify this MD?

Hi,
I found this MD for sale. It's faulty and the guy is going to sell it very cheap.

I searched on the web but couldn't find any information about it. have you seen any similar MD?

Also there is a USB port at the back. Not sure what's that for! Cheers.

I think you are correct, it is homemade Metal Detector or a prototype of a Machine that never went into production.

If the price is cheap , Buy it !!!!!! It is fixable, unless it was submerged and is water damaged . Then it can be cloned/copied !!!
Take it apart and check the circuit board . Please Take pictures and post it here. Thank-you.

the connection is for german lwl (light wave) some kind of fiber optic cable
