the sign at the bottom of your glass fishing float is just the makers/owners mark .. ask at your local fishing harbour .. they may tell you who who made it,   Clapp

or who it belongs to, in which case you'll have to return it   Laughing

  "double FF" float. This symbol is the word "kita" which means "North". It was used by the Hokuyo Glass Company of Aomori Japan.  This company stopped making floats in the late 70's.
