It isn't real often that it snows in Texas but it does still happen every now and then.

I could never understand folks forgetting how to drive in snow and ice from year to year? Those trucks you drive are bad-ass. The northern snow removal crews do fantastic jobs of keeping things cleared out. A mining buddy retired from PA snowplow work and had many stories about the public messing up in the snow. One of the most vivid memories I have is of a four engine snowplow train blasting through the heavy snow in Up-State NY. Awesome.

75th Infantry Division's Third Battalion, 290th Infantry Regiment.

here's the site to read it, doesn't show any 160th but could have been reorganized for WW2.

Shooter, I believe you got your Infantry Divisions confused.   The 160th Field Artillery was assigned to the 45th, not to the 75th.

The 2nd picture is definitely the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. It is the symbol of the marine corps. The other one is definitely a unit crest within the army, either field artillery or armored of some sort.

One is a Marine hat pin and the other is an Army unit crest, as to the battalion? who knows
