Hahahahaha! I just figured out the "code." It's an amateur radio indication of '73, which is well wishes. Homefire had me looking at the binary and it is 7,3 and that means the equivalent of "have a nice day" in ham radio lingo. The cave must have been used as a ham radion DX station. We hams set them up to test our capability to communicate in remote places to simulate emergencies. My next one is in June, 2019, but I have participated in many.
