Ok Guys What is this ? ? ? ? ? ? ?  

The Metal Piece not the Bottle ,

It's 4.5" long 2.5" wide the face or flat smooth area is 5" across 2 1/4" top to bottom

found it and the bottle just walking thru the woods.

Not sure exactly what it's to but it's made for a wooden dowel to be suspended from rope or chain. The hole in the bottom is to nail into the dowel.

Neat find.  Smiley

It's the end chainlink somebody made to fasten to the crossbar (singletree) to pull a wagon, and the hole is to drive a nail thru so it would not slip around. Wise Wise

Probably when they were hauling wiffletree logs to the munching mill do they could be ground up into kitty litter (clumping litter) Grin Grin Grin
