Weird stuff here.

Do I see  Goat looking over it's shoulder at a Star?

Just yesterday I was watching a Youtube on the Bible and they talked about a guy that collected coins with Goats and Star's.

They were trying to peace together the Trek of the the Three Kings (Wise Men) following the New Star.

I could swear I seen that coin in his collection.

I can't seem to find it now.

I can't remember if it was Byzantine  or who.

I think Harried had to do with it.

They think the Star was Jupiter but it's a Planet.

homefire, Thanks for your help!!! Initially I thought it was a horse or lion and the sun... Such a style typical of the coins of Persia, Turkey, Afghanistan... Byzantine.. interesting version

Just a Thought.    Lived in Turkey for a spell and seen stuff like that too.

Is it a Goat?

Sorry I cant help ID your coin since I know very little about ancient coins. But thank you weekender for that link. I have a bunch of ancient coins that I soak in olive oil for weeks or until I remember them. Then I soak in hot water and dish soap, then rinse and soak in water, and repeat over and over until they are somewhat readable. Some have been in water or olive oil now for over 2 years lol. If I'm feeling patient, after the olive oil soak....I put on a good set of jewelers eyes and take a round wooden toothpic and meticulously clean one.  Looking at that link got me motivated to pick out some of the best cleaned ones I have soaking right now.  I'll post some pics soon.
