I found this a little while back but don't know what it is. Its made of lead I thought it might have been a button at first but I'm not sure it was on a site that dates back to the 1700s its now currently a forest hh ryan

You probably won't find out WHAT it sealed, but with that much detail, you have a very good chance of figuring out WHO the seal belonged to.   Just a matter of searching the heraldry.   There's even a chance that might help you nail down the date range.
