Now wait a Minute - U say u have no idea of where it is found but then u have another one to show us ?

if u don't know where it came from then how did u get it and the second one ? ?

You need to give a little more detail if u truly want answers !!

Sorry about that Karl
Here's the story;
My late uncle was a "Detectorist" for a long time and he detected a lot of places all over Europe,me and my brother got some of the treasures he left ,i just found nr 2 in another one of my small boxes.
That's all i know about it.

There was no time to go trough all the papers but looking at the boxes makes me think that he didn't,i know he did make notes like that but most for the bronze age and older things he had to "give" to the museums and some of the newer coins are marked.

I found an old issue of Treasure Hunter Magazine,and there was a picture of a "thing" just like this,they wrote ;Late 17th century sexfoil drawer mount .so that's probably what it is !  Wink
