Hi Chris,

perhaps i should of expanded a little, my thoughts were , via the link , you get a more narrowed search to find a way of identifying it.

I doubt a nice find like that is common nor well known, or if any are on the net, so info would be limited.

However the flip side of the Kings Head shows a ship.... so i assume its commemerating either a flagship or a ship that took part in a victorious battle of sorts?
So perhaps by narrowing the years down, you might find what ships were celebrated or in winning perhaps a famous battle in that time frame, then who knows you may find more info on the coin itself.

That said, i know zip about coins, so good luck in finding out about it.
