I know the Jusiets (?) traded Iron ring to the Indians...but I have never seen one like that..they usually had a cross on them..so perhaps this isn't one of them.

This ring looks like it is made from a victorian crown or half crown. Trench art perhaps?

I have seen lots of trench art over the years..never anything like this..and Trench art usua;y is made from shell brass or material like that...not iron.

Just my thoughts.

Please do that I like trench art...most Trench art was made in cottage factories and sold to the Troops..but that is the more decorative stuff...true Trench Art made by the soldiers themselves tends to be a bit cruder  and in my opinion much better.
