Go Up Go Down

I recently visited with a true "green" minded master gardener in my area who goes down in a draw near his house to look for arrowheads. He was speaking of how much $$
a good chunk of a meteorite was worth. Can you tell me what is the best brand of detector for the money that will go deep enough to detect meteorites as well as other precious metals ? I know an exp is best one to look with so times are tight what would be the next step down ?

The Meteor Monster is a good one. Costs $17.00.

Don't lock your topic. That makes it so nobody can reply. Some folks think that you are keeping the topic friesh or near the top but that's not what locking means.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Go Up Go Down

People find meteorites without the use of a detector because lots of them are on the surface, having said that it also means that they are not deep in the ground so a cheap detector will do the job. Now if you want to look for gold too then you are in a different ball game altogether.
