hahaa, oh boy would I love to se that gun roar... I have a funny feeling the owner would rather leave it in its current condition... it dose have some BAD pitting and like you said the dent at the end... wooden grips have seen better days, the screws look like they have formed as one with the rest of the gun. Also the gun will not lock straight in place, so it always looks like your reloading thats probably another semi-easy fix but thats only if the screws came out, anyways thanks very much guys for helping me figure this one out, my dads friend was very happy to know the background of this gun. he paid $40 for the gun, does that sound like a fair price for the gun as it sits? The gun is MASSIVE so even if it never fires again, it sure is a nice wall hanger and interesting conversation piece!

i would pay allot more....unfortunately in the Lucky country we are not so lucky with gun guns and lows.
