Thanks for the clearer scans, Tiger.  Yes, that would be the one for the Portland Oregon Meier & Frank store, since that is Mt Hood in the background behind the conestoga wagon on the front of the coin.  Or is it the back?  Cheesy

Lovely piece you have there.  I can see the type collectors of Covered Wagons being interested in adding yours to their collection.

A quick tip, since it is in such nice condition and made of base-metal alloy, aka brass...tip the tip of your finger into some olive oil and coat both sides PLUS the
edge after washing and patting dry your coin.

It will preserve it in the condition which you received it so lovingly from your wife.
Those pieces are harder to come by that one might think, since most of the issue was turned in as $10 currency in the store...and the store sure didn't re-sell them or release them back to the public.  That is one of the reasons why it is so fun to collect tokens...their mintages are VERY low.

Outback, while you may be sure they made many, you can also be sure they collected many.

One of the things that coin/token collectors differentiate between is:
mintage,
still in circulation.

commemorative token  many made to sell so we have something to collect.
made in 1993 so i am quite sure alot of people have them being it is made in 1993  so that would be quite a few in circulation dont you think  Grin
