Go Up Go Down

Hello, new here. Not a hunter, but I don't know what other community can help with something like this. We found what looks like a class ring from 1930 in some of my families communal belongings. The reason why it is interesting is that none of my family members alive in the 30s even attended grade school. We are a deep southwestern Louisiana and deep east Texas family. None of the schools in our area have a mascot that is on the ring and there are no identifying marks I can see. Any help is appreciated.

A few more pictures of the ring.

The only marking on the ring other than the 10k stamp is this. We think it is a MWM but its crude and almost worn off.

One last picture.

Hi there.Welcome to the forum.
I cant tell you about the ring, but Google say at “ The history of the ring” that Most of the rings made from 1930-1935 were primarily manufactured by the Herff Jones Company.

Welcome.   Send them a photo and they may be able to ID it.  Huh?   Can't imagine how many types of rings they have made.

Welcome to the forum and a lot of those earlier rings are not on websites for returning.  Nice scoff and looking forward to your further posts!
