I have a brass coin in my possession that I am having trouble identifying. It has strange characters on the front over the  capital letters of "OC". On the reverse side is a shaft of wheat and more strange characters around the perimeter. The photos I have attached are 800 x 600 but I can PM or Email JPEGS if you need a larger version. Wait.........Do I smell "Silver"?  How about a silver Washington quarter as a reward for the first person to correctly identify the country of origin and language.

NOTE: Pictures look like silver, but coin is yellow brass. Flash on camera washed out the color.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
