was found at a local park that was a ranch back in the 1800's - 1900's . It came up nickel, is not magnetic, and is a horse head. any ideas on what this may be or how old it may be would be greatly appreciated,. Thanx.

Hello Dobbie,

I would have put this towards 1900 - 1940. My impression is that it may have been attached to a saddle?

Regards,

Christian

Saddle idea makes sense to me but then again who knows.  Still an interesting find.
