Okay, leave it to me... this thing is tineeeeeee. young head Victoria on front and reads imitation ,somethin or other.
and on revers is four pence then bottom center the name ? Lauer. I have found gaming tokens like this before but no luck with this one.
any help would be much obliged. Idea the last photo is just to show how small this is itis a u.s. dime holder.

its a maundy money piece,(given out by the queen), look up maundy money.
in victorias time it was legal tender even though it was not normally circulated, todays maundy money is the same as this, only it has lizzy2's head on it.
the queen gives out two pouches of money to pensioners every year, one has the maundy money, the other has legal tender coins in it.

just asked my other half (who collects coins) she reckons your four pence is a circulated coin( apparently they had them in victorias time).
i did not know this i allways thought that 4p's were only maundy money you live and learn. Wise

Atually there are differences on the reverse sides I found a page on numista for tokens in U.K. that has great info on the little buggers

yes ive found out that its proper name is a groat, its a throwback to medevil times it was taken out of circulation in edwardian times, only the 4p maundy coin survives to present day.

Thanks just goes to prove me theory that the U.K. and Europe has the best coinage and collectibles going.  such a long and great history.
