I found this in one of my fields about a couple of months back. I stuck to the idea that it was a meteorite. I took it to my science teacher and she doesn't even know what it is. I hope that someone on here could shed some light. Thank you.

My metal detector picked it up and I found it three inches under the ground. It is also attracted to a magnet. The pictures may not be good enough quality but it is the best I could muster with what I had.
