But what of the significance of the 25 ? These usually represent a number of years served,
whether in a fraternity or years on the job. Most places do give awards for 25 or 50 years
of being active. Everyone seems to overlook the other symbols on this ring. Like I said before,
it's unlikely an outlaw gang would be issuing 25 year pins, rings or awards or pirates either.

Well, I can say that it is not WWII related nor is it related to the SS or a similar group. I think it dates from around 1850 - 1920?

Regards,

Christian

And what make's you think it date's between that date? I would say you need to take it to a jewler and they would tell you made between 1965 and 1989 ,,No way that ring was made in the 1800's or 1920 to modern looking

Ahoy. Sea Hunt here. I've done some research and apparantly the ring has something to do with Yale University and a 'secret society'.Here is a link you can check out and decide for yourself. As far as age, I would 'guesstimate the mid 80s..

The ring appears to have the skull and cross bones mounted
on a stone, probably onyx. The last photo is unclear as to what is
written on the inside, it sort of looks like 14 something. Is it 14K?
Based on the style of the script initials inside, I would date it
between 1930-1950s.

Definitely not a "new age store" ring, more likely a special order
from a regular jewelry store. Not a biker kinda of thing. Doubt it is
from Yale, as more than likely those folks would have a class ring
advertising where they went to school.

The skull is the emblem of human mortality. It is a reminder that we are
not long on this earth; since our days are few, we should make
the best use of our time, serving God, our families, and our fellow man.

So, IMHO, I believe it is a 25th anniversary ring from the

(And obviously somewhat secret as you must login to get past the opening page,
which has no information at all.)

its a copy of the nazi SS ring used in germany during ww2, there are places that still sell them and yes biker's bought a lot of them along with other nazi medal's and insignia's during that time period. white supremest wear them also. the originals were made from some kind of silver material not gold or silver metal, those metals went for war material purchases ,only a few were allowed to have gold or silver jewelry.

If so, what is the meaning of the '25' & the initials ?
They must have some significance for being there.

it is the perverted SS symbol--if you go to site's that sell Nazi jewelry, you will see five different versions of the same ring the most popular one is for white supremest groups, they buy a lot of that junk jewelry.
the 25th of each month the pagen cult proceeded  to sacrifices on the alter of the holocaust 1M1,59 (1 Mathew 1 verse 59, the ring was used by the SS in Germany, and later used by the motorcycle gang the pagans motorcycle group as proof of membership, any way look up the number 25 as a symbol on google, then look up Pagen motorcycle club

Could it be related to some religious organization?  Skull and Bones use to be on crucifixes way back when.
