Yes I also thought as you. But, as the professor Kifishin has informed, there is an text - search here.
The discussion of this question was in section - pagans stone.
Today I was again in mountains. Has found the part of a sabre, lost by me.
The scanning of that place, where the copper-gold fragment was found, has not given positive results. Only one rusty splinters. Probably it is necessary to expand a field of scanning by the metal detector.
I developed the program for the metal detector (Pulse induction with MCU PIC16f88). But first I should assembled the circuit. Some details I have ordered from China. Unfortunately I not received the prepayed details. In my country the postmen steal parcels.
