Can anyone identify these markings? A member of our club asked me post some photos. It's a man's ring; I forget where he dug it up.

Persian or Arabic writing.   That's all I know.  Signac or Seal type ring.

looks newer than older ,  more lathed than hand cast. don't think it is arabic either I checked my charts and didn't see those markings. is there any markings on the inside of ring?
could be Masonic is my guess. they have all kinds of odd symbol markings.

Looks like a seal ring, you know the ones that are used with hot wax to seal documents/envelopes. Not familiar with the symbols though.
