Hi all. I have been suffering from pinched nerves in my neck and unable to MD for a while until treatment is over.  Thumbs Down Well, is not that serious, at least I can type right?  Great

I was browsing the net for antiques and came across with this piece that the seller can't ID. What is this? Anyone?

Hi Cyber!  Sorry to hear about the neck nerves.  That can't feel good.  Glad you're on the road to recovery.

I was going to suggest that your mystery object was a dust pan that a handle can attach to.  After looking at it a little closer, it has a lip running around the inside that would make it difficult to sweep stuff into.  So at this point, I don't know what it is!

Good luck finding out.

Thanks for your support Arfie. No, it doesn't feel good, but I can't wait until I recover to hit the ground again.  Rider I thought it was part of a feeding canister of some sort, but not sure.  Undecided

Looks like a bucket that may have been part of a Belt Bucket Elevator.  Usually used to haul grain or something to the top of a silo.  A company that sells that kind of stuff is Webb Process Equipment Company, but I have no clue if that is an old logo of theirs.  The company's web site says they are over 40 years old so it may have been an early logo.

Webber makes some cool BB-Q grills.

Again, ya have to put something in the photo to show size.

Bread Basket?  BB-Q?  Top of a Trash Container?

Matchbox?

ur welcome, the brackets on the side are meant for it to slide into the holding bracket, it's made for you to remove and clean and refill, there was also one similar used as a dust pan of sorts not sure of the braketing on it.  but the one you have is the feed bucket.
