 Shocked
Found 2 bullet casings near Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland, I am aware and indeed there is an old gun turret several hundred yards down the beach. Where I found the casings you look out to sea, with a very deep, man made dip in front of it.maybe some form of protection.??
The cases have the code K F with a spade figure between the letters, this is followed by VII and 11 37 at the bottom they are about 2inches long and brass. presume these are WW2

I also found a single larger shell with .45 western on the bottom its approx 1inch in length. Hope you can help !!
Many thanks
Barry

A photo tells 1000 words.

One of the whole Item with say a coin for size.

One of the Head Stamp, That would be the base of the Brass with all markings.

 Great
