You're forgiven. The trouble is, I do know something about what I enter into a discussion about. You only THINK you do. When I know nothing about a subject, I remain silent. When you do, you make some absurd notional claim about it.

Didn't you storm off in a huff a few months ago promising to never return? If you didn't, please do so now.

Where is yours? A few people here have commented that a vacuum line is correct. So far, you have a Harley guy saying he has a split tubing on his bike. And not a reduced one either. But when he looks, he'll see that it is a T tube, not a Y.

Physics are not on your side here, mate. Just let it go. Your blood pressure will thank you.

And yet nobody has agreed it was a flamethrower. In fact, there isn't one image that supports that theory so it has been dropped. Besides, it's too small for that use. Imagine a flamethrower with a tiny little nozzle like that. Ridiculous.

As to why I am discussing this with you at all, because I do respect your right to an opinion. Even a wrong one. But then, you seem dead set against me disagreeing with you. I either must agree with your assessment or nothing. It's you who just cannot stand the idea that I am correct. Anyone who has ever worked on a car knows that a reduction line for any fluid is not used. If they do use one at all, it's never a Y split, always a T split. If they want to reduce the line, they first go through a pressure regulator. On the other hand, vacuum lines often spit with a reduction to allow for smaller changes to certain devices.

Also, if you look at the picture, there may even be a small bit of vacuum line stuck on the end of the small tube.

This piece of pipe is a vacuum line for an external combustion engine. Go on now. Have a hissy fit. Clench your fists and get angry. Then tell me how you are much smarter than the rest of the world and pound out a reply to this on your keyboard. One thing for sure, Outback, is that you wear a tantrum really well.

Yes... I admit I was wrong. I did'nt look at it as well as I should have. Single into double fuel line would be the same size tube...
