Well, first of all it's 5 am Sunday..I was clled out at 5 pm Friday to salt and plow...you know the story...dead beat again...

However this is not a capbadge or collar badge.
It is some sort of "pin"..I can see the remains on the back..and the Military of any Country never used that form of attaching.

Also the Lion is a tad angry for any badge I have seen..it lacks "good" detail.

Just ain't right for a Military badge.

Just my thoughts...still a neat bit

I think I see some differences but the design is the same. Maybe you have an earlier or later version and if the mounting points look different it could be a stick pin, lapel pin or hat pin.
