Go Up Go Down

Anyone tried the 6 X 10 DD and compared to the 10 DD? Just wondering the difference. My MXT has the super 12 and darn is that heavy! Sad  Normally will use the 12 in open relatively trash free areas. Debating about the 6 X 10 DD, the 10 DD or maybe just the standard 9 for a "normal" coin mode, city parks, yards etc. I have hunted for years on an 8" and find as the loop size goes up the depth improves also but the pinpointing gets worse.

Tell you what I've found.
I got a 5" "Excelerator" coil for my minelab.
For trashy areas this thing is nothing short of amazing.
I've pulled coins from around 7 - 8 inches which wouldn't even register on the standard 10" coil due to the proximity of trash.
Worth thinking about?

I have a 5" for my xlt and you right. It works fine in the junk areas. Looks like I might have to get a 10" and a 5" for the Mxt. The 12" on the mxt300 is just too heavy for regular use.

Adolfo. Thanks let us know how it works. I'm thinking a 4 x 6 DD for trash, but can't decide on a 9", 10"dd or 6X10" DD for "regular park detecting"
