I NEED !  HA!   I NEED a new 4wd truck too.  Dang Dude ?  It would be nice if you at least Introduced your self in our New Members section.  Eaaa?

The TM 808 is just a VLF detector.  It does have a provision for setting the INDUCTION balance .  Everything Else is set by component values other then what is adjustable via the control pots.   Do you have the Schematic ?

Yes, i have the Schematic. I have a tm808 that suddenly stops working. I sent it to Wite's italy to get it fixed but they can't find the problem
What can I do? Do I have to throw it away?

there is a condition that called "user error"
very rare but very real.
why don't you send it to Whites USA.
they will fix it for you if it needs fixing.

The instrument turns on and makes sounds but if I pass over a big metal mass it doesn't ring.. Sometimes it works fine but after a while it starts going crazy. I checked the connections with the antennas but everything looks normal

That could be normal. Too large an object will do that sometimes. Try passing over it from a distance. My Garrett used to detect horseshoes at 24 inches and went blank when they were later put on the ground. As long as I was a foot away or more, it did a fantastic job.
