I have a Whites MXT Pro that I have been using for about 6 months now and am hoping some of you can share some info or tips that will help me to become a better hunter with it.

Also I'd like to know what coils you guy's use on yours and what you think about them

Hey RR

i use an AKAI ASE-20 set from the 80's works ok
tried my whites Ultra Lite Large Headphones,Not happy,
i also got a set of Phillips SBC3155 i will try next time i go out.
The AKAI works exceptionally well with my previous whites modes, but its not quite there with the PRO   Angry

Well mate being a Gold getting machine I will only use either the Grey Ghost NDT = No Down Time, because they come with a spare click in lead and have a life time Guarantee and they have a built in noise limiter which saves you getting your ears blow out if you go over a large object and they have Twin volume knobs,

Or I use the Nugget Busters which are the same but green in colour but do not have the noise limiter,

The Whites Prostarts are built the same but with a fixed lead and are black in colour,

If you want some cheaper than what you pay let me know, ok

I just got a mate from OZ a new MXT for $890.00

CHECK OUT this link re the nugget buster NDT's and the Grey Ghost NDT's I won't use anything else.

They are 150 ohms and you can get them with1/4" plugs or the 1/8th plugs, I have always used them with the MXT's because you can hear the slightest waver in the threshold and they are built like a tank. They are not all muffled like Koss phones are.

I am going to order a couple of pairs of these although I have the Pro Stars, But the Nugget Busters have the NDT Leads, And they work at about $150.00 bucks
