"Xlt audio out."
Not sure if you mean totally or just the phone jack audio....

Question... is audio ok on speaker? Dumb question #2... have you tried different headsets? If audio is out on the speaker you may have a dead audio amp... best left for Whites. If you have audio on the speaker and not the jack there is probably a broken wire or bad solder joint.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, Ill explain,

Its totally out, speaker and headphones.  Tried another coil, not the coil, replaced TRS jack, still no dice.  Was wondering if, the solder pads beneath the factory jack make connection to the tabs or jumper on the factory TRS jack?  Cannot tell, they line up with but don't know for sure as it was a loose jack that started all of this.  Anyone got a snapshot of the innards of their xlt?  Hear great things about their service, just seems it should be a simple thing as everything else still works properly.

Come to think of it there is usually a shorting switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when you plug in the headset plug.  Never taken my XLT apart so can't help there. Someone will pipe up and give you some ideas...
