Ok, been a slight change, my mate realised after going through the manual that it is way to complicated for him and has just sold it to me for $150.00 and said pay him when I can. So from 1 week ago without a detector apart from the old al'cheapo dick smiths toy that I have had for ages, I now have two. I have just been through the manual and did everything that it said to do in setting it up, the Coinmaster that is, and have a problem I am hoping some of u can help me with. There is no difference in the tone when testing with a coin but there is a significant difference on large objects. It should be registering with a coin! Would this mean that the coil is on its way out or is there something else that I am over looking. I know it is a complicated machine and I got loads to learn from it but the one thing I already love is that I can discriminate out salt water so beach fossicking will be loads better. not to mention all the other neat stuff that it will discriminate out with the right settings.
Here isa a link to a simplified manual for this machine so u all know exactly what I got.
