Hey guys & gals,
I am into rc electric planes and use Lithium batteries. Anybody know if I would have a problem using my batteries as an
alternate battery source as the would last longer?
Thanks

What is your Battery Voltage and Amp Rating on the Lipo?

What is the same for the detector?

I my self have had some bad times with LIPO batteries.

They work good for light High power Applications but only runing for short times.

I think the 11.1 Volts is going to retard your battery check in the detector.

I don't know what that detector is set up for after regulation.  My Guess and only a Guess is 9 or 10 Volts.

Below that it will ( The Regulator or Computer ) will shut down.

I would not go there my self but it would not Hurt your detector to try.

LIPO batteries have issue with heat.   It's more then Hot here.

If you match up the Connectors and they fit in the detector give it a try.

I don't think you will be happy with the end results.
