Hello . That is why I deleted my post . I caught my error at the last second !! Do not worry we will find the correct information . I noticed his Goldmaster does not have a volume control ?

HH.... Great...Eugene

Goldmaster 64T or 65T ? You need to carefully examine the circuit board !!

Photo from Whites ad in 1972 , we need from 1968 !!!

Hello Kenneth .  Welcome to our forum . The Whites metal detector will be identified . But another very important question to you is , myself and many others here are wondering what are the "Alternatives to Suction Dredging in California" ?  Thank-you for joining our Forum .

Howdy
The White's detector you are asking about is the GoldMaster S-65  (BFO). It should have the red wooden loops and yes it is a tube type! Those 67.5  volt battery are still being made and last ones I found was about $40. The S-65-T was made a few years later and was a transistor type that ran off 2 eveready square 9 volt. The T model was a much better unit.
Hope this Helps
A.C.
Hi! Sorry!!! Forgot to tell you that is control in front is a balance control for the tuning the loop or to re-balance control for the metal/ mineral on the top of the housing. This allowed you to tune and find the null between the metal and mineral side.

A.C.

Its been a while since I have posted.  The Goldmaster is still at my brothers house, awaiting for him to why a series of 9 volt battery connectors so I can test it. He's a bit slow, he doesn't do something soon. I'll have to do it myself.

Hello Edric and welcome back . Carefully install the batteries !! If it does not work , then take the control box apart and check for any writing on the circuit board or any tags glued to the inside of the case . If not then take a clear "good sized picture" of the circuit board "top-side" and post it here on the forum . Remember 500 kilabyte limit on the photo including any text you type per post .  Looking forward to hearing from you soon about this "Great Mystery"   Shocked
